Women's British Open WITB for Team TaylorMade at Woburn Golf Club

Of the five major championship tournaments of the year, the Women’s British Open demands focus and precision. The undulation and mixed woodland of the Marquess course is a golf fan’s dream but will provide a stern test for the world’s best players as they navigate Woburn Golf Course.

Team TaylorMade’s Charley Hull comes into this week the home favourite having been a member at Woburn Golf Club for eight years.

“I like the way they’ve set it up this time. It’s playing a lot longer, so it’s nice. My favourite holes are the third, ninth and 14th, because they are tough holes, great holes – never boring.”

- Charley Hull

Catching up with Adrian Rietveld after he worked with Charley on the range he stated '"Did you see the power in her drives, this is going to be a good week for Charley!". At 6,756 yards, Charley's relishing the challenge to unleash M5 driver down the fairways at her home course.

The temperamental British weather came into play on Tuesday as heavy rain soaked the course. Last week at The Evian Championship Charley hoped for wind and rain as she likes playing in those conditions. Not one to disappoint, she got a full downpour which she didn't mind! - Waterproofs at the ready!

Keeping the same set up, Charley stopped off at the tour truck for a full bag M.O.T making sure loft and lies are correct to get her into contention to win on home soil. With a first-round bogey-free 67, Charley currently sits T4 and in the mix.

“Things are going well the last several months, I’ve been very consistent the last four, five tournaments. I feel really good.”

- Paula Creamer

Making her 14th appearance at the Women’s British Open, Paula Creamer arrived in high spirits. Making a quick pit stop on the tour truck to pick up some British weather essentials (Beanie hat, cart mittens and the most needed, umbrella!) she caught up with our tour team on the range.

With consistent performances Paula hasn’t made any changes to her bag set up this week and with a mixed opening round, Paula currently sits one-over par.
