Max Schmitt

Schmitt was viewed as a future star from early in his golfing career. After competing in the Junior Ryder Cup in 2014, the German went on to guide his country to the 2015 European Boys’ Team Championship and then second place in the Junior Golf World Cup in 2016. Schmitt also enjoyed a great deal of success whilst still an amateur, competing on a professional level, which includes winning three tournaments on the satellite Pro Golf Tour in 2017. Schmitt followed this with 3 top ten finishes in 2018, which included a T7 finish at the Afrasia Bank Mauritius Open at Anahita on the European Tour. Schmitt has secured a debut season on the European Tour for 2019 earning the 23rd card, category 17, at Final Stage of Qualifying School.
