Gavin Green won 21 times during a stellar amateur career, eight of those whilst playing collegiate golf at the University of New Mexico, before turning professional in 2015. Green also qualified to represent Malaysia in the Summer Olympics in 2016.
In 2017, Green claimed three wins on the Asian Development Tour leading to him being the first Malaysian to top the Asian Tour Order of Merit. Green continued his impressive form as he retained his European Tour card at the first time of asking in 2018.
Finding performance straight away in Abu Dhabi, Green made the switch into the M5 Driver along with the M5 Fairway. As one of the hardest hitters on tour, Gavin previously avoided hitting a 3 wood in any wind because he wasn't confident on how much it would spin or how far it would go. However, after testing M5 Rocket 14° fairway featuring Twist Face technology his spin was so consistent like nothing he’d seen before it went straight in the bag and has given him more confidence in any conditions.
Green has seen a 10-yard increase in his driving distance since gaming his M5 driver, averaging 322.9-yards vs. 311.7-yards in 2018.
